Pecan Pie

combine

c light corn syrup
1
c firmly packed dark brown sugar
3
eggs slightly beaten
1/3
c melted butter (or stick of butter,
browned)
½
tsp salt
½
tbsp vanilla
mix
well
pour
into unbaked pie crust 9 inch
top
with 2 cups toasted, salted pecan halves
bake
60-70 minutes
CRUST: 1 ¼ cup flour
1 Tbsp sugar
cut in (or grate) 1
stick butter
mix in 3-4 Tbsp ICE
water (until dough holds together)
wrap in plastic and
chill 1 hour (up to 3 days)
roll and fill
