Chocolate Tart

Chocolate Tart

Non-stick spray
Sugar
4 oz. Belgian Chocolate
4 egg whites
1 egg yolk
2T sugar
1 tsp flour

Preheat over to 400 degrees.  Coat insides and rims of 4   6oz ramekins with non-stick spray.  Sprinkle with sugar and set on a baking sheet.

Melt chocolate  - when slightly cool add egg yolk by mixing a little chocolate into the yolk and them add to the rest of the chocolate.

In medium mixing bowl, beat egg whites and sugar with electric mixer on medium speed until soft peaks.

Fold half the egg whites into the chocolate mixtures with the flour until almost combined.  Add the remaining mixture.  Spoon into prepared ramekins.

Bake for 10-12 minutes.  Dust with powdered sugar and serve immediately.

**Chocolate substitute:  4 oz. semi sweet chocolate chips plus ¼ tsp. cocoa powder, 2 T butter and 1T heavy cream.
